Meetings
We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from September to May at the Kinson Community Centre, Pelhams Park, Milhams Road, Kinson, Bournemouth
BH10 7LH. Our meetings start at 7:30pm and last approximately 2 hours with an interval.
Our meetings are informal, but structured. Some members have no public speaking experience and come along to gain that experience in a relaxed, non judgemental atmosphere. Other members are experienced and give talks to outside organisations. It does not matter how nervous you think you are, the only way to get over those nerves is to participate in our meetings among new friends.
You may have more professional reasons for wanting to learn the art of public speaking, such as improving your presentation skills for use in your career.
You may come along to two meetings as a guest. If you decide to to pursue your interest in public speaking you can become a member and work through the Association of Speakers Clubs manual.
